THE GymRat CHALLENGE WILL NOW ALLOW THE LITTLE GUYS TO PLAY WHERE THE BIG FELLAS HAVE EARNED THEIR REPUTATIONS FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS. LIMITED SPOTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR TEAMS IN THE 12U-14U AGE DIVISIONS TO HAVE THE UNIQUE GymRat CHALLENGE EXPERIENCE THAT TODAY’S NCAA & NBA STARS HAVE ENJOYED SINCE 1998. TEAMS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A ‘FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED’ BASIS INTO THE LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE AT THE 12U-14U LEVELS

WHERE: UNION College’s Vanair Athletic Complex, Schenectady High School’s historic Pat Riley Sports Center, Niskayuna High School, Skidmore College, Shenendahowa High School and the Saratoga Recreation Center. Located within minutes of each other, these tremendous facilities are easily accessible from the North, South, East, or West. With twenty-one full courts, these complexes are ideal sites for an AAU event from participants', fans’, and recruiters’ perspectives.

Even with this tremendous field, a waiting list of an additional 84 teams was also maintained. However, as usual, the focus continued to be on quality as well as quantity, as the GymRat CHALLENGE continued to live up to its reputation as a springboard to national prominence.
